The meeting of Higher Eurasian Economic Council to be held in April 2017 in Bishkek
At the forthcoming meeting of the European Economic Commission for Europe, the Council members approved amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the EEC regarding the assignment of the Council and the Board of the Commission with the authority to approve a number of acts in the field of customs administration with a view to the effective implementation of the EurAsEC Customs Code.
The main macroeconomic policy guidelines of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2017 – 2018 have been approved for consideration of the Heads of State. The main guidelines contain recommendations for creating conditions for effective economic development of the EurAsEC member states.
The members of the EEC Council discussed a number of issues in the field of international cooperation. In particular, consultations leading to the formation of a free trade zone with the Islamic Republic of Iran were held, the decisions of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission “On Amending Certain Decisions of the Commission of the Customs Union”, etc. were considered.
Mutually beneficial solutions were achieved aimed at further development of the Eurasian Economic Union on all issues on the agenda of the meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. .
