The head of the Department of Social Development of Almaty has been appointed
Alibek Aldeney became the head of the Public Development Department of Almaty.
A graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Over the years, he worked in the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Center for International Programs JSC, Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, and others.
From 2015 he headed the channel “Almaty”. During this time, the company’s turnover increased by 3 times. For the first time the channel began to show a positive financial result. In accordance with the data of TNS Gallup Media Asia, according to the results of 2018, the total coverage of the television audience in Almaty amounted to 1.5 million viewers, in the country – 5.5 million people. For three years, the share of the channel has increased by 375%. “Almaty” entered the top 10 rating channels of the country.
Among the priorities assigned to the new head of the department, it is possible to highlight such areas as improving the response of state bodies to public demands of the population through effective interaction and strengthening the role of civil society institutions, increasing the level of public involvement through the development of advanced feedback practices, etc.
