During the working visit, the governor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baybek checked the construction tempo of a new bus fleet which would make the service of 200 buses on gas and also inspected new buses bought to update the route No. 99.

The director of the SEC “Almaty” Mukhit Azirbayev told that the construction of a car park in Alatau district finished by 60%. The buildings of the technical service center, car washes, control rooms, dormitories have already been built; interior decoration is being carried out.

After commissioning, about 650 new jobs will be created. Already purchased gas filling equipment. Completion of work is scheduled for early summer of the current year.

On the same day, the head of the metropolis was presented the project of building a bus fleet for 130 buses of the Batu Travel company. The amount of private investment in the project is about 1.3 billion tenge. The car park will be built in Alatau district. Thus, near the Industrial zone a kind of cluster of enterprises for the maintenance and maintenance of the city’s public transport is laid.
