The first 1900 undergraduates to work at SPIID enterprise in early 2017
“Kazakhstan universities, which will prepare qualified personnel for the priority sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan, were identified for 2015-2019 within the framework of realization of “Nurly Zhol – Path to the Future ” program,” said the director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Darkhan Zaki Ahmed during a press conference at CCS.
According to him, 4,700 undergraduates are enrolled in the basic universities for today, 1 900 people – in 2016, 2 800 people – in 2015.
Second year graduate students are currently undergoing practical training at SPIID enterprises. During practice, undergraduates have the opportunity to perform master projects.
The first 1900 undergraduates will work at SPIID enterprise in the first quarter of 2017. Tripartite agreements were signed with each undergraduate (high school student company) at the time of their enrollment.
The undergraduates will study by over 48 new educational programs developed in collaboration with experts from 47 foreign partner universities and 114 companies of SPIID. Universities invited 199 foreign scientists on the basis of agreements with 78 foreign universities. Undergraduates studying and performing master projects on the basis of 22 laboratories, created in 2015. Additional 24 laboratories will create until the end of 2016.
