Tel Aviv celebrated 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence

Tel Aviv held a reception dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.

The event was attended by a wide range of Israeli friends of Kazakhstan, including the members of Knesset (Parliament), senior representatives of government agencies, members of non-governmental organizations, diplomatic corps accredited in Israel, as well as media representatives.

Kazakh Ambassador Dulat Kuanyshev made a welcoming speech. He spoke about the achievements of Kazakhstan in 25 years of Independence and summed up the year in the relationship between Kazakhstan and Israel.

He noted that the main event of this year in cooperation between our countries is the first ever visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Kazakhstan, which will be held on December 14, 2016, on the eve of the great holiday – the Independence Day of Kazakhstan. In addition the diplomat invited the guests to attend next year’s Winter Universiade in Almaty and the International specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017” in Astana.

Guest of honor – deputy minister of regional cooperation Ayoob Kara spoke with a congratulatory speech. He praised the level of development of Kazakhstan and noted the positive dynamics of development of bilateral relations.

As part of the celebration there was a photo exhibition dedicated to the tourism potential of Kazakhstan. The videos about the country and the promos to the main events of the next year were shown.
