Tamara Duissenova pays a working visit to South Kazakhstan region


Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Tamara Duissenova paid a working visit to South Kazakhstan region and summed up the results of the Days of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population held in the region. This was reported by the press service of Akim of South Kazakhstan.

During these days, the Ministry’s staff visited all the cities and districts of the region where they carried out outreach work with the population on social issues.

During the visit, the Minister familiarized herself with the implementation of the productive employment and mass entrepreneurship development program for 2017-2021 and the “Orleu” project, as well as the implementation of social support activities for pensioners and disabled people in the region.

First and foremost, Minister Tamara Duissenova and Akim of the region Zhanseit Tuimebayev visited the family of a Shymkent resident Ainur Zhamankulova, a participant in the “Orleu” project. Having opened a sewing shop, she now sews fashionable clothes for women.

The next place of visit for the working group was the building of Standard Cement LLP. Having familiarized with the work of the plant, T. Duissenova had a talk with the employees of the enterprise and answered a number of questions.

It should be noted that the Standard Cement plant was launched in 2011. The partnership produces and sells 2 million tonnes of cement annually. In addition to deliveries to the domestic market, products are exported to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Along with this, the Minister visited the city territorial public social services center of Shymkent. The institution has 32 stationary beds, where children with disabilities aged from 1.5 to 18 years are provided with a guaranteed volume of special social services. The center has about 170 employees, there is one Montessori office and a special sensory room. During the inspection, T. Duissenova spoke with the staff of the institution and wished them good luck in their work.
