Tajikistan’s aggression. Construction of 177 houses started in Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan

To date, restoration work continues on infrastructure facilities damaged during Tajikistan’s military invasion of Kyrgyzstan in Batken Oblast, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to data, at present, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have started pouring foundations for the construction of 177 residential buildings, of which 164 are in Batken region, and 13 in Leilek region.

In turn, the foundation for the construction of 138 residential buildings has already been erected, walls are being erected in 27 residential buildings in Batken – 1, in Batken district – 26.

According to data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the civil commission has established that 661 residential buildings were damaged (in Batken city – 21, in Batken region – 454, in Leilek region – 186), of which 423 houses are unsuitable for restoration, 238 are in need in restoration work. Also in the region, 11 administrative and strategic facilities, 27 social facilities, 335 business facilities, 197 life facilities and one bridge were damaged.
