Closed

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan strongly condemns the murder of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey Andrey Karlov which took place in Ankara.

This act of terrorism directed against the authorized representative of the sovereign country is designed to implant fear and to drive a wedge in the bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia.

We present our deepest condolences to the Russian side, the family and friends of the deceased and voice a hope that such inexcusable hostile act will be thoroughly investigated by the law enforcement agencies of Turkey so that the guilty persons get the grave punishment they deserve.
