State labor inspectors protected rights of over 5K employees starting the year

Heads of these enterprises were issued 388 prescriptions, mandatory for execution, and imposed fines of more than 49 million tenge.

As a result of measures taken, including the establishment of rigid schedules and the repayment of wage arrears, the rights of more than 5 thousand workers have been protected. They were paid 654 million tenge.

The work to pay off the remaining arrears of wages continues.

In general, for the past period this year the state inspectors of labor have conducted 1,549 inspections, identified 1.8 thousand different violations of the labor legislation of Kazakhstan and imposed fines in the amount of 65.6 million tenge.
