Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, Executive Director of the National Translation Bureau, noted that more than 300 specialists took part in the project, which was coordinated by the National Translation Bureau Public Foundation. “4 new dictionaries have been compiled on the basis of scientific terms and concepts within 100 translated textbooks. According to him, the new textbooks are well received by teachers and students of the university and are positively evaluated in the scientific community. Summarizing the letters received by the Bureau, thousands of comments published in the press and on social networks, he said that the project :

According to the organizers, each translated textbook was delivered free of charge to 132 educational institutions in the country with a total circulation of 10,000 copies. Electronic versions of the textbooks were posted on the portal “Open University of Kazakhstan” ( www.openU.kz ) and freely available on the Internet.

Also, on the basis of translated textbooks, 200 online courses in Kazakh and Russian languages, a total of more than 5,000 multimedia video lectures were developed and uploaded to the portal “Open University of Kazakhstan” ( www.openU.kz ).
