In connection with the expected abnormal cold in the country, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office opened social shelters for people without a fixed place of residence.
According to the press service of the municipality, two temporary shelters for people without a fixed place of residence were opened in the city during the winter period.
All the homeless people in shelters are provided with a one-time hot meal. For safety, an employee of the police department is always on duty, and doctors and nurses of family medicine centers systematically provide the necessary medical care, the report said.
