During the meeting the Governor told about the work done over the past year in the economic and social spheres and shared the development perspectives of the region over the next five years.

The Governor noted that in 2016 the industry of the region produced goods worth 776.8 billion tenge that in comparison with 2015 was by 4.4% more.

As part of the industrial and innovative development program the region launched 19 projects, created more than 600 jobs. In 2016, 15 projects worth 6 billion tenge were realized with the creation of 585 jobs. In general, all the industrial zones of the region plan to implement 170 projects worth 200.5 billion tenge with the creation of more than 12 thousand workplaces.

Within the framework of the “Employment Roadmap-2020” program 303 projects received the support, as a result 2126 workplaces were created. About 37 232 people received assistance in all district and municipal business service centers.

During the reporting year 530 thousand sq. meters of housing were put into operation and 4 health care facilities, 39 objects of education, 8 cultural sites and 2 sports facilities were built.

Within the “Employment Roadmap-2020” program 18.8 billion tenge was disbursed, as a result 72.2 thousand people were employed. 36,2 thousand permanent jobs were created.

“In recent years there has been a positive trend in the development of agricultural production in the region. The dynamics of the growth in the gross output of agriculture is still the same, work on diversification of crop production and increase in a share of breeding animals is continued. This is possible thanks to the active fiscal policy. The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 445 billion tenge that in comparison with the same period in 2015 more than 4.9%”, Zh.Tuimebayev added.
