Sergei Konovalov appointed Deputy Minister of Social Development

By Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergei Konovalov was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Sergei Konovalov was born in 1976 in the East Kazakhstan region. In 1998 he graduated from the Semey Semipalatinsk State University.

He began his career in 1993. In 1998-2000, he worked as a junior researcher and senior laboratory assistant in the Institute of Philosophy and Political Science of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2000-2002 � Chief Specialist of the Internal Policy Department of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Public Accord of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chief Expert of the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2002-2008 he worked in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was the Chief Expert of the Domestic Policy Department, Head of the sector, Chief Inspector of the Information and Analytical Center.

In 2008-2016 � Consultant, Head of Sector of the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2016-2018 � Head of Sector of the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From March 2018 to the present day he held the post of Deputy Head of the General Security Issues Department of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
