Senators familiarized with the state of social facilities of the Shortandy district
Members of the Senate of the Parliament Rashit Akimov and Dauren Adilbekov paid a working visit to the Shortandy region.
In the village of Shortandy, the deputies visited a new multi-apartment residential building, the construction of which has now been completed and work is underway to distribute apartments.
This year, it is planned to allocate about 24 apartments to large and low-income families.
The deputies also visited secondary school No. 2, where they talked with the teaching staff and discussed the innovations introduced under the Law on the Status of a Teacher. It should be noted that at present, about 85 million tenge has been allocated from the regional budget for capital repairs of the school. So, at the school it is planned to replace the heating system, the roof, to improve the courtyards, etc.
The parliamentarians also met with residents of the district, heads of local government agencies.
In Akkol district, deputies met with the district’s activists. During the event, deputies explained the main directions of targeted social assistance in a new format, the development of local self-government, including the introduction of a level IV budget throughout the region.
The meeting participants expressed a number of proposals that Senate deputies will take into account as part of their legislative work.
