by January 14, 2020 General

Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerbolat Mukaev and Nariman Turegaliev, visited the Burlinsky district of the West Kazakhstan region.

At the district hospital, parliamentarians familiarized themselves with the state of medical services. Senators are concerned about the late examination of infants and the prevention of diseases. In recent years, children have speech and hearing impairment. Doctors attribute this to the employment of parents, with their frequent unwillingness to pay more attention to timely examination and sports development of children. The number of overweight children and adults is increasing in the area.

Currently, 15 doctors of various specialties are not enough in the area, medical workers complain. The shortage of personnel, as in other regions, is due to the lack of 25% of rural benefits. At the same time, the district center has private medical clinics. Highly qualified specialists go to these institutions, which offer high salaries, added budget workers.

Deputies did not remain without problems of children with disabilities. In the rehabilitation center at the hospital, 40 children with a violation of the central nervous system are registered, half of them, thanks to the help of specialists, have learned to sit on their own.

During a meeting with teachers, senators discussed the state program for the development of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025 and the new law “On the status of a teacher.”

Teachers offered to pay extra to teachers who provide mentoring in kindergartens by analogy with mentoring in schools. N. Turegaliev noted that this issue has been taken under control and is being discussed with representatives of branch ministries. In addition, teachers raised questions about the salaries of school and kindergarten managers. The senator explained that the salary of the heads of educational institutions will be increased from 2020, and also from 2022 it is planned to pay an additional payment for managerial skill.

At the meeting with the district’s activists, innovations regarding the new format TSA, amendments introduced to the Criminal Code regarding toughening responsibility for violence and cattle theft were explained. Residents of the district raised questions on determining the status of the village of Kentubek, strengthening the banks along the Ural River in the area of the village of Zharsuat, raising the salaries of civil servants, etc.
