Senator Vladimir Volkov reviewed the progress of reconstruction and expansion of the Almaty-Talgar-Evgenyevka highway

The Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, the Judicial System and Law Enforcement Agencies, Vladimir Volkov, held a series of meetings in the Talgar region as part of a trip to the regions.

During a meeting with the district akim Zholan Umarov and a representative of KazAvtoZhol, the results of the deputy’s request on the reconstruction and expansion of the Almaty-Talgar-Evgenyevka republican highway were reviewed.

At a seminar-meeting with the participation of the police department, the senator talked about new reforms being carried out in the law enforcement system, and said that 1.73 billion tenge will be allocated for the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs over the next three years. The participants in the event discussed a number of other issues related to further reform of the law enforcement system. During the meeting, problematic issues were raised, such as a lack of personnel, especially local police inspectors, in connection with which it is necessary to develop an optimal system for reducing the number of staff, taking into account the population, as well as pay attention to the unsatisfactory condition of the police building.

On the same day, a meeting was held with the medical staff of the Central District Hospital. The senator asked about the problems of the hospital. So, taking into account the complaints of the population about the delay in servicing calls by ambulance crews for up to 2 hours or more, the administration asked to consider the issue of returning the ambulance service to the district hospitals. Speaking about the problems, the doctors of the CRH also complained about the condition of the material and technical equipment of the hospital’s vehicles, the park of which has not been updated for more than 4 years. The problem of implementing OSMS, including the lack of information coverage among residents. The meeting also discussed the new State Program for the Development of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025, which, according to doctors, raises many questions.
