Member of the Committee on Socio-Cultural Development and Science of the Senate of the Parliament, Sergei Ershov, attended the inauguration of a new nursery garden in the city of Shakhtinsk, Karaganda Region.
This object, designed for 270 places, was built as part of a public-private partnership program and is aimed at developing children from one to 3 years old.
Free places for children from large families have been created in the preschool institution, additional educational services are provided here, including correctional work of a defectologist, speech therapist, choreography, and a robotics club. The nursery provides 50 new jobs.
It is noteworthy that now in Shakhtinsk there is a modern day nursery garden built according to Finnish technology. I especially want to emphasize that Shakhtinsk was the first city in the region where the problem of deficiency in kindergartens for children from one to three years was solved. A total of 12 such facilities were built in the republic, said Senator S. Ershov.
