Senator L. Suleimen visits Capital Reconciliation Center

Member of Parliament Senate Lyazzat Suleimen visited the Center for Reconciliation and the specialized inter-district economic court of the capital.

The event was attended by judge of the Supreme Court Ulbosyn Suleimenova, chairman of the judicial board for civil cases of the court of Nur-Sultan Kuanyshbay Alzhikov, as well as judges of the capital Gulnar Dzhapparova and Gulzhanat Rakhmetova.

A meeting was held with the coordinating judges of the pilot projects Reconciliation out of court, in court and Family court, members of the biov council.

During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for the development of the mediation institution and the provision of qualified legal assistance to citizens in resolving disputes, the reasons and conditions that contribute to the emergence of certain categories of the most frequently occurring disputes, for example, banking, their mediaability, the importance of opening a family consultation at the Center. It was noted about the development of amendments to the Law “On Mediation” and other laws on the updating of conciliation procedures and alternative methods of dispute settlement.

Since the opening (June 11 of this year), the Center has received 1850 calls. 481 mediation agreements have been concluded, of which 176 are related to family disputes.
