Senator Erbolat Mukayev attended a meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sports
The meeting participants considered draft model legal documents that are being developed by the commission. Model bills On the performance of notarial acts in electronic form in cross-border information exchange and On social tourism were generally approved. The commission members decided to ask the IPA CIS Council to include questions about these bills on the agenda of the next plenary meeting of the IPA CIS for discussion by parliamentary delegations.
Having discussed the progress of work on the draft model law On Digital Development, the meeting participants decided to send it to the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications, the IPA CIS – RCC Expert Council and other specialized organizations for expert opinions.
The draft Convention on the Preservation of Cultural Heritage of the CIS Member States was sent to the developer for comments and suggestions made at a meeting of the Commission in order to finally prepare it for submission to a meeting of the IPA CIS Council.
The members of the commission also discussed the results of the implementation of the long-term plan for model lawmaking in the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2016�2020; proposals for a long-term plan for model lawmaking in the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2020�2022; information on the use of model legislative acts adopted by the IPA CIS on the initiative of the commission in the legislative activity of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a number of other issues.
