Senator A. Bektaev met with residents of the Turkestan region

Ali Bektayev, Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nature Management and Rural Development of the Senate of the Parliament, met with residents of the Suzak and Shardara districts of the Turkestan region. The meeting was attended by an asset of the district, akims of rural districts and towns, employees of educational and health institutions, heads of farms, and media representatives.

The senator informed those present about the adopted laws and innovations that had entered into force this year, the implementation of the basic principles outlined in the Address of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan, as well as about initiated parliamentary requests.

Residents of the region raised questions of subsidizing sown land and livestock, issuing soft loans for agricultural development, amending legislation on public procurement, reducing the age of retirement of female teachers, etc.

The deputy noted that all problematic issues will be under personal control and deputy requests will be sent to the Government.

As part of the trip, the senator also visited the solar power station.
