Senate ratifies documents on veterans’ benefits in CIS and tax regime with Serbia
During the Senate’s plenary meeting held under the chair of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev the House ratified two international agreements. The first document is a Protocol which amends the Agreement within the Commonwealth of Independent States on the mutual recognition of privileges and guarantees to participants and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War, of participants of military actions on the territory of other states and the families of deceased servicemen”. The document improves the original agreement, and contributes to the harmonization of national legislations in the field of social security. Senators also ratified the Kazakh-Serbian intergovernmental convention on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and on capital and the Protocol thereto. The Parliamentary inquiries of Zhabal Yergaliyev, Serik Akylbay and Murat Bakhtiyaruly were heard during the meeting.
