Saparbek Tuyakbaev was appointed as a deputy governor of Almaty


By the order of Almaty city’s governor, in coordination with the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.Tuyakbayev was appointedas a deputy governor of the city.

S.Tuyakbayev was born in 1979. In 2001 he graduated from the Middle East Technical University (Turkey), in 2004 – the University of Toronto (Canada).

He began his career in 2005. In 2005�2009, he was in various positions at the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Presidential Administration.

In 2012�2017, he worked as a deputy governor of the South Kazakhstan region, overseeing the issues of investment, industry and entrepreneurship.

From October 2016 – Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From November 2017, he served as Chairman of the Board of JSC NK Kazakh Invest .

In turn, Marat Sembekov, who previously held this position, was relieved of his post due to his transfer to another job.
