Salt plant in Sozak region produces 10K tons

At the plant, which was commissioned in November 2016, 1000 tons of production that is delivered to other regions of our country had been produced for today.

It should be noted that the plant produces about 10 thousand tons of salt per year and is ready to provide 10% of the region’s demand for salt. 14 local residents were employed.

According to Head of the plant Murat Saparov, the plant is fully automated, and operated by a single button. Raw materials are supplied from the salt mine “Bakyt tany”, located in the village of Tasta.

The enterprise was launched within the framework of “Business Roadmap-2020” program. To implement this project, the management of the production cooperative issued a loan of 70 million tenge at 6%, today 30% of the debt is covered. In the plant the salt is packed up and packed in to 1-, 5- and 10-kilogram containers.
