Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov held several business meetings with Russian businessmen in Moscow.

Within the framework of the business forum “Investment Day of Pavlodar in Moscow”, the akim of Pavlodar region met with entrepreneurs who are interested in cooperation. One of the projects considered is the production of iron casting, proposed by Dmitry Skvortsov, general director of OOO LMK – Iron and Steel Plant. A company that specializes in the supply of foundry blanks is considering the possibility of opening a plant in Pavlodar. In addition, company representatives raised the issue of cooperation with Pavlodar universities in training personnel for foundry.

Also, the willingness to cooperate with us was expressed at Rosneftekhim, said Arystan Kabikenov, deputy mayor of the Pavlodar region. – This company offers a new technology for purifying water from salts. Representatives of Rosneftekhim want to cooperate with the Pavlodar enterprise LLP Pavlodar-Soda.

About the investment climate in Pavlodar region Russian businessmen were told by their colleagues who are already working in Pavlodar. The head of the Forwoll Group board of directors Viktor Lituev noted that the top management of the company identified Pavlodar as a priority region for further development. It is here that, after the start of production of alloyed aluminum in the territory of the special economic zone, they intend to arrange the production of ceramic products.

Personally, I have been very comfortable working in Pavlodar since the region’s leadership and I took up the development of the aluminum cluster in the region several years ago, he emphasized. – Of course, there are difficulties, but there was no such case that the akim of the region said that he had no time when we had some kind of problem.

Representatives of the KazCenosphere company, one of the founders of which is the Russian company Granula-SpecCement, only in May of this year began to implement their project, but already appreciated the favorable quality of administration in Pavlodar. Russian investors intend to launch the production of aluminosilicate microspheres from ash by the end of the year.

The very fact of providing a land plot for free for a long term reduces our investment costs and makes it possible to more quickly reach project payback, said Vladislav Vaskov, economic director of Granula-SpecCement. – To date, the necessary coordination with the administration of Pavlodar has already been completed and engineering surveys have been carried out. All the factors described have a positive effect on the implementation of our project and we are optimistic about further development.

In the framework of the business forum, the Akimat of Pavlodar region signed several agreements with large Russian companies. In addition to LLC LMK – Iron and Steel Plant and ZAO IPK Rosneftekhim, these are the companies LLC Spectoplast and LLC Company Rona.
