The culprit of an accident in the Ulyanovsk region, in which 16 people died, 14 of whom are citizens of Kyrgyzstan, was a truck driver, Russian media wrote with reference to the governor of the region Alexei Russkikh.
The reports said that the driver of the truck, who caused a major accident in the Ulyanovsk region, where Kyrgyzstanis died, had a heart attack.
The governor noted that when the accident happened, the driver was already dead.
Kyrgyzstan observes a Day of Mourning on August 23, for the dead 14 citizens of Kyrgyzstan as a result of a traffic accident in the Ulyanovsk region of Russia.
Today, at about 17:40 Bishkek time, the bodies of the dead citizens will be delivered to the Osh airport.
