Road show on Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential held in Kuwait City
The road show on Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential called Discover Kyrgyzstan took place in Kuwait City. Over 50 leading Arab, as well as 13 Kyrgyz companies took part in it, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Culture Ministry said.
At the opening of the event Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the State of Kuwait Samargul Adamkulova delivered a welcoming speech.
Adamkulova told about the tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and noted the popularity of the Kyrgyz destination among tourists from Arab countries. In addition, she noted the measures, taken by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the development of tourism, in particular, the introduction of a simplified visa regime for citizens of 11 countries, residents of the Arab Gulf countries, as well as the possibility of visiting the Kyrgyz Republic by foreign tourists in winter.
Head of the Kyrgyz delegation Maksat Damir uulu gave detailed presentation on the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan. Also, within the framework of the event, each company from the Kyrgyz side presented its areas of activity.
In addition, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kuwait organized a cultural corner of the Kyrgyz people, where each guest of the event could learn about the national culture and taste traditional sweets.
