Results of the Essay Contest Dedicated to the Country’s Independence Have Been Summarized in Astana

As a part of the implementation of the “25 Star Affairs Uly Dala Yeli – 25 Basics of Independence” Plan, results of the first stage of the national essay contest on the topic of “Qazaqstan Respublikasynyn Tauyels?zd?g?ne 25 Zhyl” have been summarized at the Secondary School No. 31 under the support of the Mayor’s Office of the capital.

The creative contest involved participation of representatives of the four age groups: students of the 7th-9th, 10th-11th grades, students of vocational schools, as well as volunteers from among the teaching staff of the capital’s educational institutions, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, public figures and civil servants.

Following the results of the contest, 8 participants have become holders of diplomas, who received assignment to participate in the national round. In the first group, the 1st place was awarded to the student of the School No.32 Polina Dekhteva, the 2nd place was shared between the students Aldiyar Demissinov from the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum and Akylzhan Torekulov from the School No.79, the student of the School No.37 Yulduz Usmanova and the student of the School No.3 Assel Akhmetova have taken the 3rd places. Among the participants of the second group, the 1st place was taken by the student of the School No.59 Aruzhan Aldash, while the 1st place of the third group was shared between students Aina Alpyspai from the College of Humanities and Lyubov Savitskaya from Danalyk College.

“In the course of 25 star days, today we are celebrating the holiday – the Day of the State Language, as well as summarizing results of the essay contest, dedicated to the topic of the country’s independence. We have established a working group headed by representatives of the capital’s Office of Education, methodical council and subject teachers. All the participants of the contest wrote essays only in the Kazakh language, which raises the prestige of the state language, expands its scope of use”, – noted the Chief Expert of the Secretariat of Kazakhstan People’s Assembly in Astana Gulnar Taigokova.
