Representatives of youth of Kyrgyzstan take part in CAYF in Tashkent
The delegation of the youth of Kyrgyzstan, led by the head of the department of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalay Berdiev (consisting of 25 people), is taking part today in the Central Asian Youth Forum (CAYF) in Tashkent.
The press service of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan said that the purpose of the forum is to intensify and strengthen interregional interaction between the intellectual youth elite and representatives of the information technology sector, youth organizations of the countries of the Central Asian region.
Berdiev said that this forum will contribute to further development in the implementation of socially significant projects and programs, the development of humanitarian ties, as well as the formation of a platform for strengthening fraternal relations, trust and friendship between the peoples and countries of Central Asia, including bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
“In 2017, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Central Youth Council of Uzbekistan, the purpose of which was to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthen friendly relations between the youth of the two fraternal peoples. It is also planned to sign a similar Memorandum between the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and our ministry as part of the meeting of the heads of state – Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sadyr Zhaparov, which will be held in Bishkek on May 26 this year,” he said.
This forum was organized at the initiative of the Republic of Uzbekistan, put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which was held on August 6, 2021 in Turkmenistan.
