Religious educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan to switch to unified e-system
On Nov.5 the Kyrgyz capital hosted the meeting of the Muftiate leadership together with heads of religious schools and universities, the press service of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The meeting participants discussed the transition of all religious educational institutions to a unified electronic system.
According to the Board’s data, this initiative is timed to coincide with the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization.
The achievements of the academic year 2018-2019 academic year, the increase of interest of young people in religious education and the development of a unified curriculum were discussed at the meeting.
The Muftiate has been working on the digitalization of all processes in the work of the Board for 4 years already. Currently, the entire pilgrimage organization is fully digitized. Now we are going to create a unified electronic system of religious educational institutions. Each of you should make a contribution to this,” Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksat azhy Toktomushev said.
A muftiate is an administrative territorial entity under the supervision of a mufti.
