QUARANTINE AND SANITARY POINTS TO BE CREATED ON KAZAKHSTAN’S BORDER
The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan, together with the Frontier Service of the National Security Committee, is working to create quarantine and sanitary points at checkpoints crossing the state border of Kazakhstan, Strategy2050.kz reports.
The list of checkpoints with special quarantine zones will be approved by the State Commission on ensuring the state of emergency under the President of Kazakhstan. In addition, the possibility of temporary closure of some checkpoints will be considered.
In total, there are 51 automobile checkpoints at the state border of Kazakhstan, of which 37 are at the border of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Kyrgyzstan) and 14 are at the border with China, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
