Prime Minister visits one of the largest enterprises producing food products in West Kazakhstan
Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited one of the largest meat production enterprises in the region during his trip to the West Kazakhstan region.
During his visit, Prime Minister inspected the production building, the finished product section, and heard a report on technologies used in producing food products.
The Zhayik Et” enterprise was established in 2003 on the basis of the former Uralsk meat-packing plant. A large-scale modernization of production began here in 2009, which fully completed in 2013. Currently the plant produces more than 100 types of meat sausages and canned products.
It should be noted that the company has all opportunities to not only supply products to domestic markets, but also increase exports, which will positively affect the economy of the whole region.
This is especially important, since in his Presidential Address Nursultan Nazarbayev indicated that Government support should be firstly provided to such competitive, export-capable enterprises, so that Kazakhstan could integrate into the global chain of production, as well as sale of goods and services.
