Prime Minister tasks to hold the Universiade at the highest organizational level

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev gave a number of instructions to the responsible state agencies related to the upcoming XXVIII World Winter Universiade.

The Prime Minister noted that the Universiade-related preparations are entering the final phase and, in this regard, there is a need to pay special attention to the organizational issues and security.

Almaty akimat, Ministry of Investments and Development and other relevant state bodies are instructed to work out the issues of transport logistics and operation of new Universiade facilities in accordance with the requirements and safety standards.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is instructed to strengthen control over fire safety at the crowded places, hotels, other public places and public transport.

The Internal Affairs Ministry is in general tasked to work out the issues of public order protection, B.Sagintayev noted.

The Ministry of Information and Communication is instructed to pay special attention to information and branding work. This applies both to broadcasting the events, news blocks, and operations of the large number of journalists.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is tasked to keep under constant control the health care of the Universiade.

All the heads of ministries and departments should provide assistance and necessary assistance, B.Sagintayev said.
