Prime Minister takes part in Atameken NCE Presidium meeting

Prime Minister took part in the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurship Presidiums enlarged meeting.

The meeting heard the report of Atameken NCE Board for 2016, approved the 2017 Action Plan, and discussed the development of domestic companies competitiveness, transition to a knowledge-based economy, the domestic products export and the topical issues of human capital development.

The speeches were delivered by the business environment representatives: Atameken NCE Deputy CEO N.Altayev, Alageum Group LLP CEO S.Kozhabayev, President of Association of Entrepreneurs in the sphere of Service of Kyzylorda region E.Raimov, Bayan Sulu JSC President T.Sadykov, etc.

The Prime Minister B.Sagintayev emphasized that thanks to the constructive and coordinated work of state bodies and the business environment, the significant results were achieved over the past year in many aspects of economic development.

This year, the Government, pursuant to the instructions of the Head of State, has developed the draft program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship, draft state program for AIC development in 2017-2021 and the Concept of a unified program of housing construction, which will start being implementing in 2017 beginning.

According to B.Sagintayev, thanks to the active position of the business community, the documents provides for the norms, which reflect the wishes of different layers of the population.

With the direct participation of Atameken NCE representatives in the discussion of the EAEU draft Customs Code, it became possible to gain points that are essential for the economic development of Kazakhstan. Now we need to actively get the drafts provisions across to the population, B.Sagintayev said.

The Prime Minister also stressed the need to strengthen the work on the promotion of PPP projects and to advance the public procurement rules.

B.Sagintayev concluded his speech by congratulating the business community on the 25th Anniversary of Independence and wishing them further success.
