Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Semey
During the inspection of the new school building for gifted children, which was put into operation in late 2016, B. Sagintayev examined the offices of self-knowledge, nanotechnology, biotechnology, pottery, dining room and library. Director of the school B. Kaiyrzhanov told about the achievements of the educational institution.
The uniqueness of the object is that the main educational building for 720 students is combined with a sleeping building for 120 seats. This allows gifted children from the countryside to study and live in a boarding school under one roof.
466 graduates graduated in just seven years of the work of the school; 34 students became holders of “Altyn Belgi” sign, 22 of them received a certificate with distinction. Graduates of the school successfully continue their studies in universities of the country and abroad. Thus, 156 graduates enrolled in Nazarbayev University, 283 graduates study at the universities of Kazakhstan, 26 graduates abroad.
