Prime Minister negotiates with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic
Today at the Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held bilateral talks with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vuvic on cooperation in trade, economy, agriculture, transport, logistics, and culture.
Kazakh Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Serbian side for the contribution to promoting international initiatives of Kazakhstan, support of our candidacy for the non-permanent UN Security Council member for 2017-2018, as well as for a positive decision on participation in EXPO 2017.
We have just discussed in a closed format many issues that need to be considered under the instructions given by the heads of our states. There is an appropriate protocol following the Presidents visit to Serbia. The action plan has been developed; and our colleagues from the ministries, national companies are working to complete assignments, B.Sagintayev said.
Serbian Prime Minister A.Vucic in his turn noted the contribution of the President N.Nazarbayev to the development of bilateral relations, stressing that Kazakhstan and Serbia have developed genuine relations.
Following the meeting, Kazakh and Serbian sides signed the Cooperation Roadmap for 2017-2018 and the Protocol of Intentions between the Astana akimat and Belgrade City Hall.
Astana hosts today Kazakh-Serbian Business Forum with participation of over 90 Serbian companies.
