Prime Minister instructs to intensify the explanatory work on social health insurance
During the Government meeting Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed the authorized bodies to carry out explanatory work on the introduction of social health insurance more qualitatively.
Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that Kazakhstan is at the stage of launching a very significant reform – the introduction of compulsory social medical insurance. It affects every Kazakhstani, thus efficient work is required both from the healthcare sector and from employers.
The Head of State in his Presidential Address instructed to conduct widely covering explanatory work on the implementation of compulsory social medical insurance, but it is currently at an insufficient level.
Analysis shows that conducted meetings have narrow coverage of the population. Thus, the Ministry of Healthcare and Akims must concentrate their efforts on explanatory work, attract authoritative experts who could explain the basics of the reform in an accessible language, B. Sagintayev said.
