Prime Minister holds meeting on improving business climate of the country

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan held a meeting at the Ukimet Uyi focused on the issues of further improving the business climate of Kazakhstan.

The meeting covered the set of legislative initiatives aimed at improving the position of Kazakhstan in Doing Business report.

The amendments to the existing legislation were developed in the end of 2016 with proposals of state bodies, national and international experts, and business community of the country taken into account.

Reference: the draft provides the amendments to 6 codes and 15 laws, which provide for amendments to 9 indicators of Doing Business report: Registering Property, Starting a Business, Enforcing Contracts, Getting Credit, Protecting Minority Investors, Resolving Insolvency, Dealing with Construction Permits, Getting Electricity, and Paying Taxes.
