Prime Minister discusses topical issues of youth with students of the Uralsk region
Bakytzhan Sagintayev during a working trip to West Kazakhstan met with students of the West Kazakhstan Agricultural and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan.
During his visit to the leading regional university Bakytzhan Sagintayev was acquainted with the university’s scientific projects, reported on the ongoing work to introduce the newest educational methods in the learning process. It should be noted that the University was founded in 1963, and today more than 4,500 future specialists in the field of AIC are trained here.
During the meeting with the students, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev discussed current issues concerning young people, among them are the fight against drug addiction and alcoholism, development and the future of the country within the framework of the Presidential Address Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness”, the importance of competitiveness and trilingualism, as well as the impact of Internet and social networks.
Summarizing the meeting, Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed the Ministers of Education and Science, Labor and Social Protection of Population, the Akim of the region to take all the raised issues under control.
