Prime Minister discusses topical issues of regional development with activists and entrepreneurs of Atyrau region
At the meeting, the implementation of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan and the role of the region in the formation of a new model of economic growth were reviewed. The report of akim of the region, N.Nogayev, on achievement of target indicators of social and economic development of the region within the framework of project management was heard. Also, key areas of development of fuel and energy and agro-industrial complexes, modernization of education and healthcare, technological modernization and Industry 4.0, attraction of investments and provision of industrial employment were considered.
Ministers for Investments and Development, Zh. Kassymbek, Energy � K. Bozumbayev, Labor and Social Protection of the Population � M. Abylkassymova, Education and Science � Y. Sagadiyev, made comments on the issues raised. Chairman of the Board of Atameken NCE, A. Myrzakhmetov, told about the current issues of business development.
Via videoconferencing, comments on the issues discussed were given by Deputy Prime Minister, E. Dossaev, Ministers of Healthcare, Y. Birtanov, Finance, B. Sultanov, National Economy, T. Suleimenov, Vice Ministers of Agriculture, G. Issayeva, Information and Communications, D. Tuyakov, Culture and Sports, Y. Kozhagapanov. In their speeches, the speakers outlined the reserves of the region’s economic growth, tasks, priority areas for joint work of the akimat and the Government.
Following the discussion Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted the importance of carrying out work on attracting investments, developing the service economy, new branches of the economy, and also stressed the importance of preparing the Government and akimats for the new technological revolution.
It should be recalled that today the Prime Minister is on a working trip to Atyrau region on the instructions of the Head of State. Earlier, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited South Kazakhstan and Kyzylorda regions on working trips.
For reference: To fulfill the designated tasks, the Project Management Department has been implemented in the Government. A portfolio of the Government’s projects has been formed in all the most important areas of economic development. For each project, target indicators and responsible persons have been established, detailed plans for implementing projects have been developed, indicating specific results and timelines.
