Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructs to ensure safe and qualitative rest of schoolchildren during summer break
During the Government meeting, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev got acquainted with the plans to organize recreational and leisure activities for children during summer holidays and instructed to ensure the safety of all planned activities.
Earlier, during a Government meeting, Minister of Education and Science Y. Sagadiyev reported that it is planned to provide leisure in summer camps to 1 655 000 children or 61.2% of the total number of pupils in grades 1-10. During summer break, children will be provided with various forms of engagement � classes, clubs, labor groups and excursions.
In this connection, Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed to give priority to ensuring security in the organization of summer recreation and engagement of children. This includes road and water safety, the sanitary and epidemiological situation, fire safety.
Additionally, Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed to consider and support the initiative of the “Zhuldyz” NGO to strengthen public control of children’s camps by parents and non-governmental organizations.
