Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructs to ensure compliance with the approved privatization schedules in Kazakhstan
During the Government meeting, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev gave a number of instructions on the further implementation of the Privatization Program in Kazakhstan.
Prime Minister noted that new schedules for the sale of privatization targets have been re-confirmed, and Roadmaps for each target with precise terms of their sale have been included in the State Property Register. On this regard, state bodies and holdings must ensure strict compliance with the approved schedules.
Also today, work is being carried out on compiling a list of facilities that must remain under State ownership. At the same time, more than 100 targets that do not meet the principles of “Yellow Pages” will be additionally included in the list of facilities subject to privatization. Remaining facilities under State ownership must be eliminated or reorganized.
In this regard, Prime Minister instructed responsible state bodies, Akimats, and national holdings to complete this work before the end of the year.
In addition, Bakytzhan Sagintayev recalled that at the extended Government meeting, the Head of State instructed to conduct an inventory of all facilities with State participation in order to transfer them to a competitive environment.
As a result of the work carried out, the Ministry of National Economy updated the list of facilities subject to transfer to a competitive environment. Therefore, responsible state bodies must keep further work in this direction under control.
