Prices for construction materials grew by 1.7% in 2016

Over the last year, the price index for construction and assembly work amounted to 104.6%, machinery and equipment – 103.4%, other works and costs – 105.8%.

There is an increase in prices for materials, components and structures acquired by construction companies – 1.7% over 2016 year.

Prices for flat glass increased by 21%, sheet steel – by 10.7%, gravel – by 6.3%, the paint and enamel – by 6.1%, bitumen – by 3.2%, gravel – on 2.9%, linoleum – by 2.6%, timber – by 2.1%, Portland cement – by 1.5%.

At the same time, rubber and plastic products have become cheaper by 12.8%, gypsum – by 2.1%, brick – by 1.2%, the cables and concrete goods – by 1.1%.
