President Nursultan Nazarbayev Receives Prime Minister Askar Mamin
According to the data provided, the economy has been showing positive dynamics for the last two months. In particular, the manufacturing industry, construction and agriculture are developing rapidly. The service gradually began to recover. Positive results have been achieved in the field of information and communication. There is a steady growth in food production, light industry, chemical industry, metallurgy, including non-ferrous metals and engineering, pharmaceuticals.
The President was informed about the results of the meeting of the OPEC + Monitoring Committee. It was noted at the meeting that a separate agreement had been reached to increase oil production for Kazakhstan to 20,000 barrels per day. This will allow to gradually increase production in the mining sector.
The sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country was discussed at the meeting. According to the Prime Minister, the situation is under control: the increase in the number of viruses in the country is 0.9, the number of beds in infectious diseases hospitals is 23%, and the number of beds in intensive care units is 16%.
The President was also briefed on the measures taken to attract investment, employment, stabilization of prices for socially important goods and other topical issues of socio-economic development of the country.
