PHOTOGRAPHIC REPORT: Prime Minister of Kazakhstan participated in meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of CIS Heads of Government

B. Sagintayev started his working trip from a visit to Moscow, during which a bilateral meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev was held.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the industry, the energy sector, trade and economy, transport sector and other areas.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev noted that the roadmap is under implementation in accordance with the Plan of joint actions for 2016-2018, that is designed to increase the volume of commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that our countries have good prospects for the implementation of these steps.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev took part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on October 27 in Minsk.

During the meeting, participants discussed the budget of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2017, the draft Treaty on the Customs Code of the EAEC, building activities of product traceability in the EEU member states, international activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as a number of organizational issues.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev said a wide range of topical issues of interaction within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and ways of further development of integration association have been discussed at the meeting.

After the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government facing the press, which marked the completion of the working visit of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev.

B.Sagintayev participated in the meeting of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister of the State – the Commonwealth of Independent States on October 28.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda and the deepening of cooperation within the CIS.

B.Sagintayev noted that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the implementation of joint projects and is ready to continue to cooperate actively with the countries CIS partners.

After the meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev took part in the meeting of CIS Council of Heads of Government.

During the meeting, participants discussed a number of multilateral issues.

B. Sagintayev noted that the joint policy of improving the business climate to attract investors, to economic growth, strengthening financial markets and mutual trade, adopted in the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, has proved its effectiveness.

Following the results of the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government, a number of important multilateral instruments have been signed.
