The Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) and the National Paralympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan intend to sign an agreement on cooperation in the development of Paralympic sports. The President of the RPC Pavel Rozhkov announced.
«From March 20 to March 28, Yaroslavl will host the Scarlet Flower children’s and youth competitions for the prizes of the All-Russian Federation of Sports of Persons with Lesions of the Musculoskeletal System. The national team of Kyrgyzstan will take part in the competition. The delegation is headed by the Vice President of the National Paralympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Ermek Mukashev. As part of Ermek Mukashev’s visit to Russia, we plan a meeting, during which we intend to sign an agreement between the National Paralympic Committees of Russia and Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the development of Paralympic sports,» Pavel Rozhkov said.
Previously, the RPC concluded cooperation agreements with the Paralympic Committees of Belarus, Armenia and Tajikistan.
The National Paralympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic was established in 2015. It includes more than seven sports federations — table tennis, archery, skiing, cycling, powerlifting, arm wrestling and wrestling.
