Over 100 participants to attend Agro-industrial Investment Forum
The forum will help the Kazakh business to establish new connections for the implementation of projects in agriculture, food production. Over 100 potential investors from China, Iran, the UAE, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey have confirmed their participation.
“Among the participants and speakers are representatives of the Asian Development Bank, the Islamic Organization for Food Security and international electronic trading platforms. Kazakhstani producers will share the experience of working with investors and the implementation of agricultural projects. In addition, the forum invited major foreign investors, representatives of international financial institutions and investment funds, as well as a wide range of representatives of Kazakhstan and foreign agribusiness”, the speaker said.
G. Atamkulova stressed that within the framework of the forum it is planned to sign an agreement between the Agrarian Credit Corporation and the European Investment Bank, memoranda on cooperation between the Food Corporation with the Islamic Organization for Food Security and the RACS company, “KazAgro” holding with the Asian Development Bank.
“In addition, “KazAgro” is planning to conclude a debut deal of the Kazakh-Hungarian Fund for the implementation of the greenhouse complex project and an agreement with Da Vinci Capital on determining the basic parameters for the creation of a joint fund for direct investments”, G. Atamkulova said.
It should be noted that the Agro-Industrial Forum “AgroInvest Forum 2017” will be held on August 25, 2017 in Astana. Deputy Minister of Agriculture Askar Myrzakhmetov and Chairman of the Board of “KazAgro” Holding Nurlybek Malelov will talk about new trends in the export potential of the agro-industrial complex during the panel session.
