Nursultan Nazarbayev: Global crisis still here
The global crisis begun seven years ago has grown into hyper crisis, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev stated at the solemn meeting on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Independence.
There is no escaping the global crisis, which began seven years ago and has turned into a hyper crisis deepening with every day that passes. Frankly speaking, with no new programs and laws we have adopted in the last three years, the situation in our country would be a lot worse than it is today. This applies to Nations Plan, 2050 Strategy, Nurly Zhol, Industrialization Program, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President predicts that in the next 15-20 years all spheres of human activity will radically change. What is 15-20 years? We are celebrating the 25th anniversary, though it seems it was yesterday. Artificial intelligence, unmanned vehicle, 3D printing, genetic and bioengineering will completely change the construction, industry, transport, agriculture, services and medicine, as well as our concept of professions and opportunities.
All countries of the world will gradually shift to renewable energy sources. Global economys new type is emerging today with new principles of international relations approved. Completely new formats and models of development appear to replace the social order ruling last 2-3 decades, the President said.
According to the President, there are many disturbing signs of the times in the dynamics of this century: the confrontation between the major powers, civil wars, and ethnic conflicts. When there is no agreement between the major countries that ensure the peace, the terrorism emerges an undeclared war of all against all. The threat of famine, epidemics has become a new daily reality in this world, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
Time is fleeting, we know, the desire of a new qualitative development is the main idea of the nation for the next decade, so in the coming years I indent to consolidate the efforts of the society to attain all strategic objectives and plans we have shaped, the Head of State concluded.
