‘Nurly Zher’: About 670K sq.m. of housing to be built in Almaty


On behalf of the President of the country, about 20 billion tenge was sent to the infrastructure projects of “Nurly Zhol” program in Almaty. Nearly 33 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget as part of the anti-crisis program for housing construction.

“During the first five years, in the framework of “Nurly Zher” program, about 670,000 square meters of housing for 140 billion tenge were built in Almaty. At the end of the year, every fourth family in the queue will receive the apartments”, B. Baibek said.

It is worth noting that the complex of the Athletic Village covers an area of more than 23 hectares and consists of 14 residential buildings. Its territory is equipped with modern systems of video surveillance, access control and firefighting. There will be a Public Service Center, a polyclinic, a supermarket, a bank and post office, a stronghold of the police. During the construction, modern, environmentally friendly materials were used.
