Number of transactions of purchase and sale of housing in Kazakhstan increased by 35% in 2017

The number of transactions for purchase and sale of housing in January-February 2017 compared to the same period last year increased by 35.0%, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan reported.

So, the number of transactions for purchase and sale of housing in January-February 2017 amounted to 33,165.

In February 2017, the number of registered transactions for the purchase and sale of housing amounted to 16,975 and compared to the previous month increased by 4.8%. The number of transactions for purchase and sale of housing for January-February 2017 compared with the corresponding period last year increased by 35.0%.

Astana and Almaty are leading by the number. For example, in Astana in February 2,918 contracts for purchase and sale were registered. In Almaty for the same period, 2,908 apartments were sold. At the same time, the lowest number of flats was sold in Kyzylorda region – 276.
