New waste utilization method proposed by Kyzylorda scientists

According to the Governor’s Office of the Kyzylorda region, the innovative invention will enable to prevent the environment pollution and provides rational use of existing resources.

The annual harvest of rice in the pre-Aral area comprises about 400 thousand tons. Around 10% thereof amount to the proportion of wastes. Earlier, the rubbish from products was got rid of. Nowadays, rice husk is one of the main components of light concrete � a cement wood.

We use only local materials. These are ash from the CHP, some types of chemical supplements, liquid glass and calcium chloride. The production expenditures are less in half. Therefore, the low cost in a cement wood. In addition, the method is harmless to the environment, – doctor of technical science Saken Uderbaev said.

Candidate of technical science Nabi Dauzhanov created the project enabling to minimize the expenditure of the production of reinforced concrete structures with the use of solar technology. The young scientist proposes to implement the process of heat treatment with the use of solar energy.

The method enables to use solar energy for the heat treatment of the concrete products. The efficiency of the technique is very high. It will facilitate to the change the energy-intensive process to low-cost and clean, Dauzhanov said.

Besides, the scientists of the University found the use for oil-slimes, as well as designed the method of converting the toxic wastes to the highly-effective energy. The know-how can be used in the production of building materials. For instance, in the production of an aggregate.

The technique went through the tests in the workshops of the Ural aggregate plant. The invention is produced by available raw materials, reduces labor- and energy expenditures. At the end of the tests we got certificates of correspondence which proves only physic and mechanic properties of the product, candidate of technical science Rosa Narmanova noted.
